The City of Okanogan passed Resolution 2020-10, Tuesday, November 17, 2020, granting Okanogan Business District businesses access to CARES funds (see map for reference of C1, C2, and C3 boundaries) and they have tasked the Chamber for help getting the word out.
The areas circled in RED are eligible for the City of Okanogan CARES Grant.
Okanogan businesses within the 3 city business districts are eligible for the $1–$5,000 grant if they can attest that they suffered economic hardship during the 2020 COVID pandemic. The application is very simple – attest you suffered a financial loss, sign your name, submit the application. Done.
Here’s the catch: Qualifying businesses (those within the three business districts of the City of Okanogan) ONLY have until 10:00am November 30, 2020to apply for the grant. PLEASE don’t wait!
The City offices are closed to the public, so you need to drop it in the Dropbox out front. The reason for the deadline time change is so that city employees can input all the information required into the accounting program and issue checks that same day.
This is a great opportunity to recoup some of the financial losses your business experienced as a result of the COVID–19 shut downs.
After months of behind the scenes algorithim work, Sunny Okanogan Chamber member Dale Crandall shared in our November monthly Chamber Meeting that the North Cascades Law Group Okanogan office can “officially” be found at 212 2nd Ave N # 203 Okanogan, Washington (Post Office 2nd Floor). It seems Google didn’t believe the Post office had offices for rent. North Cascades Law Group’s hours are Mon – Thu: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
